Dear Students and Parents/Guardians of Davidson County High School,
Welcome to the DCHS family! Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our Davidson County High School community. We are so excited for the 2019-20 school year! Our staff is working hard to prepare engaging and rewarding learning experiences for all students. We look forward to seeing our returning students and families, and we are excited to get to know our new families. At DCHS, we place high value on our partnership with parents, families, and community and we invite you to be an active part of helping students to achieve their full potential and work toward graduating.
We consider it a privilege to work with your kids every day to help them be their very best selves. We believe that each and every student has a talent to share with the world, and we work hard to unlock their highest potential. We have high expectations of our students, and we have high expectations of ourselves to help all DCHS students learn and grow into well-rounded citizens and critical thinkers. DCHS aims to develop leadership skills, social and emotional skills (Soft Skills), and academic skills to prepare students for success not only in high school, but also in their career, relationships, and lifelong learning.
Please continue to visit our website for updates throughout the year. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 336-242-1459. We invite you to be our partners in our work. We look forward to working with families to accomplish great things for our students!

2019-2020 Principal Entry Plan
I am in my first year at Davidson County High School, but I am no stranger to the world of education. I have served students and families as a Teacher/Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal and Director of Accountability and School Safety in the neighboring Thomasville City Schools district. I look forward to the opportunity to serve your students and do “Whatever it Takes” to promote their overall success. I am a husband to my wife Erica and a father to three great kids Haiden, Tinley, and Teagan. I also have two dogs Lexi and Bella. I am a huge Carolina Panthers/Charlotte Hornets fan and love playing golf during my freetime. I am a member at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in High Point. I enjoy working with multiple philanthropies and nonprofits such as the United Way and the YMCA.
